PAC ARCHITECTS has over 45 years experience in Papua New Guinea and the Pacific Islands. The firm’s primary role is as Architects and Project Managers. In addition, the firm is active in the fields of master planning urban design, building surveying and interior design. The Head Office of the firm is located in Port Moresby. The firm maintains a core staff of between twenty five to thirty professional, technical and support staff, the majority being Papua New Guinean citizens. Pacific Architects undertakes work throughout Papua New Guinea and the Pacific Islands, including the Solomon Islands, Fiji and Vanuatu. Consultancies have been undertaken in New Zealand, Guam, the Federated States of Micronesia, the Republic of Palau, the Marshall Islands and in the Philippines. In Papua New Guinea work has been undertaken in every single Province and Provincial centre. The firm has had extensive involvement with Mine Sites and Townships in Arawa, Panguna and Tabubil. The firm is expert in remote area operations.
PAC Architects is the largest firm of architects and project managers operating in Papua New Guinea. It has been responsible for major landmark buildings including: The Deloitte Tower, Port Moresby International Airport Redevelopment Terminals and Ancillary Building, Windward Apartments, the Reserve Bank, Ela Beach Tower, Telikom Rumana, Revenue Haus, Aopi Centre, Vulupindi Haus, Credit Haus, School of Tourism and Hospitality Vanuatu, the National Bank of Vanuatu Headquarters Building, Holiday Inn all Suites, Port Tower, Hillside Gardens Apartments, Lae and the IPI Building in Lae. PAC Architects is currently working on the Reserve Bank of PNG Cash Distribution Centre in Lae, and have just completed the total refurbishment of Marea Haus (Pineapple Building) and the 2015 South Pacific Games Village.
